Giáy people
The Giáy (Vietnamese: ''người Giáy'') are an ethnic group in Vietnam who speak the Bouyei language. Most live in the Lào Cai, Hà Giang, Lai Châu, and Cao Bằng provinces of northern Vietnam. In 1999 the population was 49,098. They serve dishes called ''lạp siềng'' and ''lò nùng''. They sing ''vương'' and ''phướn''.
